Seagrass carpet, which is an entirely natural product, is made of, as the name suggests, naturally grown and produced fibres. These are grown in the paddy fields of China, are flooded with seawater during crop season and drained once the grass is ready for harvest. It is then soaked in fresh water for several weeks before being dried, sorted and woven into twine or rope for carpet weaving.
These carpets offer a lustrous and soft finish that brings in a touch of nature and is ideal for absorbing noise in light traffic areas.
